PIEDMONT PARENT MAGAZINE SHOOT

HALLOWEEN PHOTO SET

I recently had the opportunity to style a super fun Halloween mini set for Visive

Photgraphy! We opted for a Halloween party theme. Everything turned out

soooo cute & fabulous! I couldn't have been more happy with the results!

PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS! PUMPKINS!

It's that time of year again! Fall is here and so are the fabulous decorations that

come with it. I thought that I would compile this post with FAB ideas to "preppy up"

those plain old pumpkins!

She's {kinda} Crafty Guest Post!

Hi Preppy & Pink readers! My name is Stacy and I am visiting today from She's{kinda}Crafty, a little blog where I try to simplify crafts and DIYs so that everyone can do them. Luckily, Preppy & Pink Stacy is only a little way up the interstate, so I didn't have to travel very far ;)

I want to share with you a very simple and fun Halloween craft/favor. You only need a little time, a couple of supplies, and a printer to complete this project.

Supplies:

small mason jars or other containers

caramel or candy corn

ribbon

Pumpkin Teeth Labels (download for FREE here)

glue dots or double sided adhesive

paint - optional

1) Print out the Pumpkin Teeth printable on either white cardstock or 8.5X11" sticker paper which you can pick up in the office supply section of Walmart (10 sheets for $4.44).

2) Use a paper trimmer, scissors, or punch and cut the labels out to the size or shape you want.

3) Measure you jar with your ribbon and cut a length of ribbon that fits around your jar at the spot you want to apply your label.

4) Wrap ribbon around jar and glue into place with either a glue dot, double sided adhesive tape or by using the label to hold it in place if you've printed it out on sticker paper.

5) Glue the label in place on top of the ribbon if you've printed it out on card stock.

6) Optional - paint the lid of you jar. I used Martha Stewart's new glitter paint to give it a little extra sparkle. I always recommend a primer when you are painting on metal but it's not a must if you don't have the time or patience for it.

That's it! So simple, right? These would be great as party favors or for schoolmates, neighbors, the mail man...the list goes on and on!

BABY SHOWER FOR {soon to be} BABY JAKE

I recently had the opportunity to make some goodies for a baby

shower for {soon to be}, baby Jake & his sweet mommy, Angela.

Her co-workers wanted to do something a little special for her

before her "BIG" day arrives.

FIRST DAY OF KINDERGARTEN

Miss Gracie B. started kindergarten today!!! Of course this momentous occasion meant

that we HAD to have an impromptu photo session a couple of days ago.

{Please excuse my lack of professional photography skills, and the fact that

the sun was ridiculously bright and in Gracie's eyes, oppsie!}

BACK TO SCHOOL PARTY

I was so excited when I stumbled upon this MoSt AmAzInG post over

at BIRD'S PARTY, and I just couldn't wait to share! With school starting

back this week, and alarm clocks cranking back up, who couldn't use a

little PaRtY in their lives right about now?!?!

{actually, i will really come up with any excuse to eat cake, LoL}.

Isn't this just the cutest thing you have ever seen?

I had the privilege of styling a photo set for the CuTeSt 4 month old ever!!!

KatieBeth was so sweet and can you believe all of that hair?!?!?!

Her mom contacted me and was wanting to do something FUN for her session,

so I decided on a pink and black set with some cute details!

A KID, A CAMERA, & SOME SIDEWALK CHALK

Miss Gracie B. and I had a little extra time on our hands this past weekend,

and I decided to con her into an "impromptu" photo shoot {and by impromptu,

I mean informal, unplanned, unorganized, and me as the photographer! Yikes!!!!}

I quickly pulled together an outfit before Miss B. lost interest, scribbled a

little sidewalk art and.......VOILA!!!

CHARLEE-LICIOUS LEMONADE BIRTHDAY PARTY!

First of all, let me apologize for the blog looking like a hot mess! We are currently in the

process of updating some things and unfortunately it has taken longer than anticipated!

Sooo.... with that being said, please overlook our dishevelment and know that

all will be tidied up soon!

Ok, now to the GooD StuFF!!!

I am so excited to share with you one of the projects that I have been working on

this summer! My little niece, Charlee, turned 2 on June 25th and of course Aunt Stacy

had to style her up the most FABULOUS Lemonade Stand Birthday Party ever!
