It's that time of year again! Fall is here and so are the fabulous decorations that
come with it. I thought that I would compile this post with FAB ideas to "preppy up"

  4. Take out the apostrophe and it will be just perfect. Love the dotted letters.

  5. Glad it's not just me who wants to remove that apostrophe! =) Otherwise, great stuff.

  6. The apostrophe is fine...stating that it is the Brown's house...not two or more Browns :-)
What was used to make the letters? I am a Realtor and think this would make a cute client drop-off gift!

  7. Then it would be Browns' for the Browns' house, since the house belongs to all of them. The Brown's is possessive for one person.

  8. How are you so sure it's not just Brown?
Brownses and Browns' doesn't sound right.

  9. Making the last name "Brown" plural would just require an "s". Making it plural and possessive requires an "s" and an apostrophe.

  10. what font was used for the letters? would love to trace those on card stock!

  11. I am also SO glad that the apostrophe bothered some other people! It makes it hard to focus on the cute idea when you're distracted by the possessive apostrophe!

  12. It is "The Browns'" if it is an introduction to the house saying that it is their house. If you are just talking about the people like saying We are the Browns, then it is without an apostrophe.
